Change of name
The competition driven by globalization requires organizations to appear with a uniform corporate identity in the international environment. Uniform corporate identity means both in Hungary and on international level that the elements of the corporate identity and also the name of the organizations will be uniform all over the world.

For our majority shareholder TÜV SÜD AG it is one of the top priorities to provide for corporate communication and for uniform corporate identity in the international business and technical environment. Therefore a decision has been made to indicate the name of the shareholder TÜV SÜD in the name of all affiliated companies, thus the name of the Hungarian subsidiary has changed to be ÉMI-TÜV SÜD Minőségügyi és Biztonságtechnikai Kft. as of June this year. Our short company name is
ÉMI-TÜV SÜD Kft.

You have certainly noted that starting from this year our new slogan and logo have been used on numerous corporate brochures. The name change is an ideal time for us as well to demonstrate our membership in the TÜV SÜD concern by our 3D logo and by our certificate marks in a visible way.

We are happy to continue the fine cooperation with you under the new name.

New service - EMAS certification
Among the Hungarian certification bodies, the first was the ÉMI-TÜV Bayern Kft. which got the right for EMAS certification from the National Certification Body (NAT) in July 2005, thus it is readily at the disposal of its interested partners, as a certification organization accredited according to the EU Environmental Management and Accreditation System (EMAS) by the Order nr. 761/2001/EC under the registration number HU-V-0001.

Certification of the suitability of playground devices...
The conditions of the security, marketing and operation of playgrounds are regulated by the recently published Ministry Order GKM 78/2003 (XI. 27). According to the Order, only such playgrounds can be built and operated, which are conforming with the series of standards MSZ-EN 1176 and MSZ-EN 1177 (or detaining an at least equal degree of security), and on these playgrounds only such playground devices can be installed or erected, which detain the necessary certification issued by appointed certification bodies...
